Alpine Woods

This transitional kitchen manifests a country-house vibe with a light and airy contemporary flair. Gentle, rustic elements subtly pair with crisp white cabinetry, while the overall layout offers plenty of open space void of any bulky elements.

5-piece shaker doors in MDF are painted white throughout, juxtaposed with black cabinet hardware and appliances creating a bold polarity for the space. Three upper cabinets with glass inserts put dinnerware front and center, with a custom wine rack furthering the open-storage arrangement.

With a focus on a white kitchen with natural wood tones, this project is ripe with organic beauty.  A quaint island to the side, with seating for two, is adorned with a stunning walnut butcher block countertop; providing the perfect contrast to the gentle, white quartz on perimeter wall surfaces. Four floating shelves in a stained walnut provide more space for accessible storage as an eye-catching accent piece, and a wooden ceiling beam runs perpendicular to the back wall.

With so much open, presentable storage on display, it wasn’t necessary to outfit the kitchen with excessive cabinet accessories. In addition to the statement wine cubby, a three-level custom pullout spice rack turns heads and makes cooking a dream.
