Deslaurier Design Consultant Joey Cooke seamlessly merges colour and natural wood tones in this custom Calabogie vacation home’s vibrant two-tone kitchen. Deslaurier’s “Brookfield” door style in painted MDF is custom colour matched, while a dazzling walnut with a vertical wood grain adorns the “Urban” style slab door.

A generous kitchen peninsula extends from the wall, equipped with a built-in dishwasher on one side with roomy seating for four on the other. Silestone’s charcoal soapstone surface furnishes the countertop, while a Bizier walnut butcher-block with custom knife slots for practical meal prep is positioned between the oven and fridge.

Additional countertop space affixes both ends of a sizable custom pantry unit. A coffee station and built-in mini fridge sit tucked on one side, while a microwave and elegant walnut shelf ornament the other end.
