The goal of this project was to develop a simplistic design that could keep the closet hidden while at the same time present itself as its own unique furniture piece.
Dark stained birch cabinets in Deslaurier's "Urban" style slab door set the mood with thin black hardware pulls and a coordinating black sink faucet. The walk-in closet door was seamlessly built-in to the cabinetry system, while a white quartz surface pops from its surroundings.
The tall cabinet to the right of the closet door is fully equipped with rollouts for enhanced bedroom storage space. Two floating shelves offer open storage for coffee mugs and wine glasses while also providing additional built-in task lighting for the countertop space and small prep sink.
