Production Worker - Manufacturing Renfrew, Ontario
We are currently looking for full-time Production Workers to work out of our Renfrew location. The ideal candidate will have a positive attitude and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
We currently have openings for both day and afternoon shifts for the following positions:
- CNC/Edge Bander Operator
- Custom Wood Workers
- Finishing Sprayers
- Finishing Sanders
- Assembly Workers (Packaging, Builders)
- Countertop Fabricators
NOTE: In addition to the regular hourly rate, employees receive an additional $2.00 per hour shift premium when working the afternoon shift.
Qualifications:
- High school education or equivalent
- Physical fitness with the ability to lift 50 to 100 pounds.
- Experience with various woodworking tools/equipment would be considered an asset.
- Strong organizational and communication skills, as well as a positive attitude and initiative are a must.
- Knowledge of woodworking, experience in a manufacturing facility and knowledge of cabinetry components and assembly would be considered strong assets.
Installation - Subcontractor Ottawa, Ontario
The primary focus of this role is to install cabinets to our quality requirements, complete return service requests when required, and ensure work is completed to DCC/customer quality standards.
Responsibilities:
- Complete installations for quality of product and installation
- Liaise with customers in a professional manner
- Complete service requests when required
- Complete all paperwork correctly and in a timely manner
- Other duties as assigned

ERP Specialist Renfrew, Ontario
Description
Deslaurier Custom Cabinets (“Deslaurier”) is currently undergoing a renewal of its information systems to allow for more consistent and scalable processes from sales through manufacturing, installation and servicing. These technologies are central to the organization’s goal of providing excellent customer experiences and significant growth targets. This is an exciting time for a driven individual to join the ERP team and help make the transformation happen!
Deslaurier is seeking a highly motivated and qualified candidate to fulfill the role of ERP Specialist. The Specialist will report directly to the ERP Champion. The role will be largely based out of our Renfrew location, with time required at our Ottawa location and remotely as well. The successful candidate must be a task driven, independent and forward-thinking individual who will move work forward without constant supervision or direction. They must be highly IT minded with a strong focus/background in SQL programming and database management. The position will revolve around Deslaurier’s ERP software, Acumatica, including the integration with Deslaurier’s manufacturing software, iMOS. The position will encompass miscellaneous IT related duties as required or assigned.
Requirements:
- University degree or college diploma in a related field and/or proven demonstrated experience.
- Experience with information modelling and system integration and implementation of system infrastructure.
- Ability to understand, implement and assist in process design and control systems (across sales (CRM), service and production process) for continuous improvement.
- Proficient with MS SQL, experience writing actions and stored procedures.
- Strong understanding of networking and troubleshooting experience.
- Ability to train teams, write documentation, tutorials and/or training materials.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to clearly explain concepts to non-technical individuals.
- Ability to troubleshoot, diagnose and respond to user requests across the IT infrastructure and application environment.

Mechanical Engineering Technician Renfrew, Ontario
We are currently looking for a Mechanical Engineering Technician/Technologist with minimum 2 years of experience for our factory, Deslaurier Custom Cabinets in Renfrew.
Duties and responsibilities:
- Under the direction of the Engineering Manager, the MET will be responsible for ensuring the proper application of engineering design and drawing practices in support of our business using SolidWorks. He/she will be working in a collaborative team environment, using 2D and 3D CAD tools.
- Work on project management for different projects.
- Support manufacturing and maintenance. Advise on corrective actions to resolve design problems.
- Create and assign necessary tickets in Maintenance program and design new forms on QC program.
- Ensure technical quality and accuracy of project work and obtaining the required approvals.
- Ensure all work is carried-out in accordance with company policies, practices, and procedures.
- Assist in the on-going development of company practices and procedures to control consistency and quality of work.
- Write Standard Operating Procedures and keep the current procedures up to date.
- Other duties as assigned by the manager.
Required education & experience:
- Diploma in Mechanical Engineering Technology or equivalent
- Fluent at SolidWorks both in 3D modelling and drawing generation.
- Drawing standards.
- GD&T.
- 2+ years related experience on project management and CNC operations.
- Proven problem solving, communication and planning/scheduling skills are essential.
- Capable of working as part of a solid team.
- Strong trouble shooting and problem-solving skills, and the ability to multi-task in a fast-pace atmosphere.
- Valid Driver’s License.
- CAM knowledge is an asset.
- Any ERP knowledge is an asset.
